Why We Built This Site
Missouri provides several public access routes, yet each one answers a different question. The Stone County Sheriff keeps its incident reports, booking files, and current jail roster. The Circuit Clerk maintains filed charges, docket events, judgments, and certified court copies. Missouri Case.net public access displays court data, while the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository supplies statewide criminal-history products through MACHS. State custody belongs to the Missouri Department of Corrections, and MSHP maintains the Missouri Sex Offender Registry with local verification by the sheriff. This site brings those official contacts, search steps, fees, and limits into a county-focused reference.

This is a privately run reference site, not part of Stone County, a Missouri court, a law-enforcement office, or any state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We do not retrieve an official criminal record or conduct an official background check
- We do not submit Sunshine Law requests, expungement petitions, or other filings for a visitor
- We cannot certify a court document, booking record, or criminal-history response
- We do not give legal advice about a charge, warrant, case, or eligibility rule
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, address, schedule, or procedure
An official copy must come from the Stone County Sheriff, the Circuit Clerk, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, or the other agency that maintains the original record.
